The Chesterfield Poultry Limited journey begins in Nottingham as a small butcher shop.

The senior management establishes Chesterfield Poultry, the first industrial butchery processing unit in Clay Cross, Chesterfield.

Chesterfield Poultry registers itself as a limited company and an SME business.

Operations are moved to bigger unit in Clay Cross, Chesterfield.

We started a new operation in Wilsden Bradford.

The company acquires a 14-acre land in Thorne, Doncaster, for business operations.

Collaboration with BAADER led to the introduction of new equipment following a trial run at the CPL Thorne site. As a result, the Bradford business was relocated to Thorne with the production of 370,000 birds per week.

Acquisition of Yorkshire Poultry.

Today, we produce over 1 million birds per week and offer them to our customers at competitive prices in the market.

Accreditation

Chesterfield Poultry, from farm to finished product meets Red Tractor assurance standards. The Red Tractor branding can only be found on British food and drink products that have been certified to the highest standard.

 

Our processing plant is double “A” BRC approved. The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is an industry-standard mark that provides customers with confidence that businesses can achieve high standards that are ever-evolving to better and applicable standards.
